I co-presented on Universal Design for Learning to the staff at Claremont Academy. Most already had some familiarity with UDL so the focus was on digging into a checkpoint based on each teachers' interests and needs.
I provided PD to our staff on ways to use Google Forms. I used staff feedback when designing the PD to ensure that I covered their most pressing questions around the use of Forms.
This presentation focused on why and how to design lessons that avoid cultural appropriation.

Creating spaces where all students and adults are welcomed and seen is something I am passionate about. My goal in this presentation was to have dialogue around ways to make sure our students feel a sense of belonging.
I have presented multiple times on my "Journey to TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior)." This presentation highlights my shift away from teacher-directed to student-centered learning in my class.
I presented on a variety of ways to spark creativity by having teachers participate as students in a series of hands-on activities.
